| I would like to add that Python has simple, easy to learn syntax, and can be used for OOP programming. It also can be as powerful as the user needs, to a certain extent. Python can also be used in conjunction with the Blender 3-D rendering program, as well as many other programs. Python was programmed in the "C" programming language. | |

Originally, yes, along with some C++. Now there are also implementations in Java, VB.net, JavaScript, and others. There's even a Python implementation written entirely in Python! | |
